the details are not (just) the details...they make the design
- Charles Eames
As an interior designer with a Master's Degree, I have a wide range of capabilities and frequently work on projects more "architectural" in nature. Most of my recent projects have focused on residential development and design including custom homes, gut rehabs, kitchen and bath renovations, additions and real estate consulting.
I worked previously as a Teaching Assistant and Tutor at Harrington College of Design where I received my graduate degree. This experience has kept me up to date with design trends and technology and provided me an opportunity to mentor and help others passionate about design.
Prior to going back to school for Interior Design, I worked as a CPA for over 10 years which provides me a unique business perspective. This experience included working for the large accounting firm Ernst & Young as well as a luxury custom home builder and remodeling company.
My mission is to help clients translate design goals
into realistic plans for a project.
This process can include creating 3D models and renderings, space plans, detailed drawings to facilitate construction, as well as research and specification of products and finishes to be used.
My recommendation for anyone considering a renovation or construction project is to make sure you have thought through your goals, scope, and budget. If you are having difficulty in any of these areas it can be more than worth your while to hire a design consultant to help you flesh out your vision.
Ask me how I can help with your project and vision!
